I am embarking on very new territory as a mommy! My sweet girl starts k-garten in less than 2 weeks. I knew this was true yesterday as I was among 100s of parents at walmart buying 60plus dollars worth of school supplies that I hear may or may not even be used by my child. Supposedly the supplies all go into a community bin for all the kids. So the soft handled fiskars may not make Hailey any more comfortable but someone will benefit! I've actually known this was true for some time but I keep denying that the little 7 pound 11 oz brown eyed angel is now big enough to attend elementary school. Trevor has 3 more years to go, but that didn't stop Hailey!!!

just when everything seems to be going smoothly

Just when everything seems to be going smoothly ... one of us has to get sick. We can't all feel great at the same time it seems. Usually it's my poor little boy - he has had so much yukkiness with ears and teething and daycare illnesses, but it seems like the other 3 of us catch whatever he just got over when one of us has been a bit more run down than normal. So today my little girl looks like she hasn't slept in days but I really think it's her allergies and I have whatever stomach virus my son just got sent home from daycare with on Monday. I's extremely fun being at work this morning with 2 male co-workers and I'm running into the bathroom every five minutes - literally!! If every other working mom in the office hadn't already called in sick today, I could go home but then I'd probably be mopping our kitchen and dining room floors that look like they haven't been mopped since 1992.
One bright sunny spot on the whole day ... TGIF!!!!!!!!!
